GO7 Introduces Connected Distribution Model for WorldTicket Platform

GO7 has introduced a connected distribution approach for its WorldTicket platform, designed to help airlines manage access to multiple sales channels through a unified framework.

The model brings together traditional Global Distribution Systems (GDS), New Distribution Capability (NDC) connections and direct partnerships with online travel agencies, allowing participating airlines to distribute their content across a broader commercial environment. The company said the approach is intended to simplify distribution management while enabling carriers to reach customers across different booking channels.

According to GO7, the platform is built to support airlines in combining multiple distribution pathways within a single ecosystem, reducing the need for separate integrations and operational complexity. The company is also preparing to introduce a virtual interlining capability that will allow airlines to offer expanded network combinations supported by its baggage connectivity solution.

Commenting on the development, Peer Winter, Chief Distribution Officer at GO7, said:
“For too long, the industry has been arguing GDS vs NDC. But there’s no silver-bullet channel in airline distribution. Our holistic approach allows partners to be present wherever their customers are booking, while reducing complexity and maximising incremental revenue.”

GO7 said its distribution network connects with more than 100,000 IATA-accredited agencies across 190 markets, while also supporting settlement and distribution through online travel agencies and intermodal partners. The company added that its aggregation capabilities allow airlines to distribute codeshare and interline content globally while maintaining control over inventory, ticketing and customer data.

The connected model forms part of GO7’s broader strategy to provide scalable distribution infrastructure for airlines seeking to expand market access through both traditional and emerging sales channels.
