About Travel Distribution News

Travel Distribution News (TDN) is an independent B2B publication covering the systems, technologies, and commercial models that determine how travel is bought and sold globally. We cover airline distribution, GDS dynamics, NDC adoption, hotel technology, travel payments, and emerging market infrastructure with a depth and focus that generalist travel media cannot match.

TDN is free and ungated. No paywall. No subscription fee. Every article, every analysis, every executive interview is open to anyone in the industry.

WHO RUNS TDN

TDN is founded by Gustave Sugira, a Kigali-based media entrepreneur and travel industry analyst with deep roots in the Emerging Markets travel and technology ecosystem.

Before launching TDN, Gustave built SNG Events, which organizes industry conferences including the Africa TravelTech Summit & Expo. That event background gave him direct relationships with executives across airlines, technology vendors, hotels and travel agencies across the continent and beyond.

He launched TDN in late 2025 because he saw a clear gap: the global travel distribution industry had no publication that took emerging markets seriously as a subject of analysis rather than an afterthought. TDN exists to close that gap.

TDN operates with a lean editorial team of writers, analysts, and industry contributors spread across Africa, Middle East, and Asia. Our contributors bring hands-on experience in airline distribution, travel technology, payments infrastructure, and hospitality commerce. Every piece published under the TDN banner is reviewed for editorial accuracy and industry relevance before it goes live.

We are a small team with a clear mandate: cover travel distribution with the depth it deserves, from every market that matters.
