Mozambique to Host Africa TravelTech Summit & Expo (ATTSE) 2026 in Partnership with INATUR

Mozambique will host the fourth edition of the Africa TravelTech Summit & Expo (ATTSE) on 17–18 September 2026 in Maputo, following a strategic partnership between event organizer SNG Events and the country’s national tourism authority, INATUR.

The collaboration reflects Mozambique’s growing focus on tourism innovation, digital transformation, and international industry engagement. The event is expected to bring together travel and tourism executives, airlines, hotels, tour operators, travel agencies, online travel companies, bedbanks, wholesalers, travel technology providers, fintech firms, telecom operators, investors, regulators, and media from across Africa and global markets.

Now entering its fourth edition, ATTSE has established itself as a dedicated platform focused on travel technology, distribution, and industry innovation. Previous editions held in Nairobi positioned the summit as a business-driven forum connecting technology providers with travel industry stakeholders across the continent.

ATTSE 2026 will feature a high-level conference and a business-focused exhibition, where international and African travel technology companies will showcase solutions designed to support the evolving needs of Africa’s travel and tourism ecosystem. Key themes will include digital distribution, airline and hotel retailing, payments and fintech, automation, and data-driven operations.

The partnership with INATUR ensures alignment with Mozambique’s national tourism priorities, including destination visibility, private sector engagement, digital transformation, and investment attraction.

Richard Baulene, Director General of INATUR, said:
“We are delighted to partner with SNG Events to host this important summit in Maputo and look forward to welcoming industry leaders and delegates from across Africa and beyond to Mozambique.”

Gustave Sugira, CEO of SNG Events, said the event is designed to strengthen collaboration between technology providers, governments, and industry stakeholders.

“ATTSE was created as a platform where technology, policy, and the private sector come together to develop practical solutions that support the growth and modernization of Africa’s travel industry. Hosting the fourth edition in Maputo reflects the continued expansion of the conversation across the continent.”

Through ATTSE 2026, Mozambique is expected to gain increased visibility among global travel technology providers, distribution partners, and investors, while local and regional stakeholders will benefit from access to international expertise, partnerships, and new business opportunities.

As demand for modern retailing, connectivity, and automation continues to grow across Africa’s travel sector, platforms such as ATTSE are playing an increasingly important role in shaping the region’s digital transformation agenda.
