Royal Jordanian Takes NDC Live on Travelport, Opening Richer Content to Global Agencies

Royal Jordanian Airlines has activated its NDC content on Travelport+, making its fares, ancillaries, and product information available to travel agencies across all its markets worldwide.

The go-live fulfils commitments made under a distribution agreement the two companies signed in October 2025, and marks a significant step in the Jordanian carrier’s broader retailing transformation.

Agencies connected to Travelport can now access Royal Jordanian’s NDC content through Smartpoint, Travelport’s agent booking application, and TripServices, its cloud-native API platform. Both channels draw from the same normalised, multi-source content layer, with consistent servicing across booking paths.

“We are happy to kick off a new NDC journey with Travelport, adding a new element to our partnership which spans more than three decades,” said Karim Makhlouf, Chief Commercial Officer at Royal Jordanian. “This go-live is a significant step in our digital transformation. By making our NDC content available to Travelport-connected agencies, we are able to deliver a far richer experience for both agents and their customers.”

Damian Hickey, Global Vice President and Global Head of Air Partners at Travelport, said agencies across all of Royal Jordanian’s BSP-activated markets can now access NDC content through the platform.

Royal Jordanian operates from its hub at Queen Alia International Airport in Amman to destinations across Europe, North America, and North Africa, and is a member of the oneworld alliance.
